About Nugget's Surfeit
Our Mission
At Nugget's Surfeit, our mission is to provide fun educational presentations to students of all ages and backgrounds all about skunks. We believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for all and gives a greater understanding about the world we live in and the animals we share it with.
Skunks have a stinky reputation! We love breaking those myths and allowing people to see and experience a skunk up close as they learn.
We strive to help as many domestic skunks as possible and with the guidance of Indiana Skunk Rescue we are able to take in surrendered domestic skunks, evaluate and rehome them to their new forever homes.

42-PU: 9-1-1 Educators
Nugget, along side our team of experienced 9-1-1 educators, is passionate about teaching and have a wealth of knowledge in the 9-1-1 field. They are dedicated to helping our community learn about 9-1-1 and when to call and what to expect. We offer education and resources to all ages in Knox County Indiana.
Meet our famous Nugget the Skunk
Nugget, or 42-PU, has gained national notoriety for his ESA work at Knox County Central Dispatch in Vincennes, Indiana.
He has been on Inside Edition, Tucker Carlson Live, The Raspy Dispatcher (podcast), Within the Trenches (podcast), nationwide national news syndicates, local newspapers and most recent We Speak Dispatch (podcast).
